On January 1, 2023, our company took over the premises and the plant extraction activities of PileJe Industrie , which was neighbouring us on the Z.I of Couserans in Lorp-Sentaraille in Ariège. Now with 3 production sites close to each other and a workforce of more than 40 employees, GENIBIO is starting the year 2023 off with a bang!
Proven expertise for Genibio
With this operation, GENIBIO now offers quality plant ingredients and extracts thanks to a proven know-how of more than 20 years’ experience, targeting the agri-food and dermo-cosmetics markets. We analyze and select the best fresh plants from all over the world, before grinding and extracting at low temperature, preserving this way most of the properties of the plants. These natural extracts, from certified organic producers, then constitute ingredients that comply with the specifications of our customers.
Genibio and PileJe Industrie combine therefore their knowledge, and their complementarity forms a synergy that benefits both our company and its customers. We are also taking the opportunity to renovate this new site, making it more pleasant and ergonomic for our employees and enabling us to provide ever more efficient and qualitative services.

This new challenge, made possible by the good financial health of our thriving company and its motivated and dynamic teams, allows us to take a more important place in the natural ingredients market. This philosophy of continuous development of the company also led us to join Syneum to further increase our visibility and our potential!
